Technical Specialist CAD/BIM

Regionfastigheter is looking for a Technical Specialist CAD/BIM who wants to drive digital development work and ensure high quality in our models and drawings within some of the region's largest property projects.

Your workplace

Region Värmland and Regionfastigheter have many exciting property projects, one of which is Nya CSK, which is one of the largest development projects that Region Värmland has undertaken so far.

Regionfastigheter is a support function within Region Värmland responsible for the development, management, and operation of Region Värmland's properties in the county. The main task of Regionfastigheter is to provide suitable premises and maintain the long-term value of the properties. Regionfastigheter consists of a property office and an operational business and currently has about 100 employees. Within the property office, there are the operations of Project and Management. The operational business consists of three units.

Your tasks

In the role of Technical Specialist CAD/BIM, you will, together with your colleagues in the project operations, be the requirement setter in the development work with CAD/BIM, as well as responsible for Regionfastigheter's digital model and drawing management.

The ongoing work involves an active and uninterrupted information chain between management and construction projects, all the way from needs analysis to completion and archiving. From a property owner perspective, you will be the requirement setter in Regionfastigheter's CAD/BIM issues, which includes:

• keeping governing documents and guidelines regarding CAD/BIM and property documentation updated
• developing, refining, and being the system administrator for our document management system and our external project site
• working with digital document management regarding models, drawings, and property documentation
• being responsible for quality assurance of models, drawings, and property documentation
• setting requirements, providing support and service in ongoing construction projects as well as providing internal support and service
• participating in external networks and monitoring developments in CAD/BIM.

Your knowledge and competencies

We want you to have:

• technical education in construction and property or equivalent that the employer assesses as comparable
• a strong interest in CAD/BIM issues
• good basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
• experience and good knowledge from similar work with document management regarding technical property management
• good knowledge of Office 365 products.

It is advantageous if you have:

• experience in providing training/support
• experience in construction design in larger projects
• experience from room function programs related to CAD
• experience in administering project platforms.
